Do you want to know my secret to brand marketing success?

You can build a viable, revenue-generating business WITHOUT a $1 MILLION marketing budget...and without a million followers.

How do I know this?

Because I did it once, and now I'm doing it again.

Sure, would these things be nice---absolutely. But more important than anything is that you show up to build your community through the content that you create each and every day. When you do this, you create trust, authority and engagement, which ultimately leads to transaction.

And while yes, social media IS important for your business...so too are ALL of these other forms of content. SWEEP pushes you to create a process and plan to repurpose your content. And when you SWEEP your message through your content platforms, and they all start working together, really big things happen.

SWEEP stands for…

SOCIAL MEDIA: Obviously a key component to your marketing mix, but it shouldn’t be the only content you put out on behalf of your brand. Your social media is crucial to getting your message out often and in real-time across multiple platforms, and it will work better for you when it works WITH your other forms of content.

WEBSITE: Your brand should have a website, a place where your community can click and land for more information on you, your product/service, and your offers. Your website is crucial as you own it. It’s a place for you to expand upon your mission, your story, and how you can solve a problem for your community.

EMAILS: Your email is the #1 way you are going to push your content out to your best customers. Billions of emails are sent out and opened every day, and guess what? YOU OWN your email list. Your email list is a direct line of communication to your community and one that will forever elicit a transaction like no other form of content. When I sold my company, 150,000 emails were sold along with it. Every action I took in the nine years I owned it, was to collect as many emails as possible.

EVENTS: Events build community. And, regardless of if they are virtual or IRL, events provide you with a connection to your community like no other. Events allow you to interact, engage, ask questions, get feedback, and really get to know your community and the people who are transacting with you. There is nothing, EVER, like an in-person connection for you and your brand.

PARTNERSHIPS: There is no better way to build your own community than to borrow someone else’s. Partnerships, when set up and executed the right way, allow you to do just this. Some easy ways to partner include email swaps, Instagram Lives, collaborative content, webinars/workshops, and giveaways.

PUBLICITY: Whenever you/your brand/ your community is talked about..that is publicity. It doesn’t have to be traditional press like TV and print… podcasts, blogs, and IG Live interviews are all forms of publicity. Any time you get your story and brand out into the world, you’re generating buzz that you can capitalize on.
