5 Simple Actions to take Right Now to Ignite Your Business

You often hear me talking about how to ignite your BRAND. But how about a few simple actions to ignite your BUSINESS?

Your BRAND is the personality, image, or voice that connects you with your community. But your BUSINESS includes the services you offer and how you generate revenue. A.K.A HOW YOU MAKE MONEY.

Just as there are simple actions you can take to Ignite your Brand, here are FIVE actions to take TODAY to Ignite Your BUSINESS.

1. Network

Set up a coffee or lunch to network. This week. Take it a step further: Find a networking event to attend this month. And then find three conferences in your industry that you would like to attend within the next 18 months. Put them on your radar.

2. Follow Up

Those proposals that are outstanding? Follow up with them. Those client inquiries? Schedule a meeting to talk about how you can help.

3. Write Your Story

Write your long, medium, and short versions of your story. The short version? That ONE SENTENCE is your elevator pitch: what you do, how, and why. Perfect it.

4. Offer Consults

Offer FREE 30-minute consults to five people. Put up a booking link on your social media and send it out in an email. Use that time to showcase your expertise and problem-solve for these potential clients. At the end of the call let them know how they can get more from you, your products, or services.

5. Send THAT email

Send THAT email…the one to everyone you know. Tell them what you do, why you do it, and HOW. Been in biz for a while? Share something new you have going on. Create a reason to reach out. And then let then know how they can support you: spread the word, follow you on social, or by keeping you in mind for the future.

None of this is hard. None of these cost money (unless you attend a paid event…but finding one is free). None of these actions require anything other than a little bit of time. ALL of these actions will only further your BUSINESS and your BOTTOM LINE. Take note, and put them into practice on repeat.
